St Michael’s Centre is located in the heart of the Peak District National Park and has been welcoming school groups for over 30 years. In 2019 the centre became the first Peak District National Park Ambassador Centre.
School groups benefit from exclusive use and work with a small team of dedicated and professional staff. The centre offers exceptional opportunities to enhance the school curriculum with a range of activities, all designed to take advantage of the landscape surrounding the centre with its rich history and geography.
Private groups are welcome to hire the centre on weekends and school holidays and take advantage of its special location and facilities.

Take a look around
We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and all your team for another great visit to St Michael’s. The children got so much out of it and are still buzzing! The pick up from the swimming pool was perfect and gave us that bit of extra time, thanks for suggesting it and packing the coach for us. Carol Walker, Teacher, Ranby Primary School, October 2021
Firstly I need to extend a massive thank you to you and the team at St Michael's for making our Y6's residential experience a truly wonderful one. It is so good to be able to get back into the swing of semi-normality. I am only gutted that I was unable to attend myself. Troy Jenkinson, Head, Highgate Primary School September 2021
Firstly can I just say a huge thank you to you and the team at St Michaels Hathersage. You made us feel so welcome and the kids had a great time experiencing being away from home and having some freedom and independence. Dominic Woodsford, Teacher, Gamston Primary School, 2020
